KYE-YAC continues its commitment to the Cooper-Anthony Child Advocacy Center

Sometimes, when kids need to learn sensitive, yet important lessons, it can be easier for them to relate to a fun, furry character.  Recently, Kye teamed up with the Cooper-Anthony Child Advocacy Center to teach the kids about safety and abuse prevention.  Kye, a.k.a. Jake the dog, visited the Garland County Headstart program with Janice McCutcheon, Director of the Advocacy Center, to teach 3, 4, and 5 year olds about safety, abuse prevention, stranger safety, and overall safety instructions.  Jake (Kye) demonstrated safety tips to the kids in a fun, positive, and effective way.  The kids were excited to meet Jake and were responsive to his message.
