The KYE-YAC board joined one of our favorite friends, Skylar Stone, to celebrate Halloween at Magic Screams and mark yet another item off of her bucket list! Skylar was born with a vary rare birth defect called Schizencephaly. She is an amazing 8 year old girl that has been through so much. She is on hospice care with Arkansas Hospice.
It was a perfect fall evening and the Halloween Festival was full of fun rides and haunted houses. O.k?.we must admit, Skylar was probably one of the bravest among us!? Many KYE-YAC?ers opted out of a haunted house or two, but not Skylar!? She enjoyed herself throughout the park, riding some rides? and made it to the end of every ?house of terror? we entered.. leaving many of us waiting at the snack stand!
At the end of the evening, Skylar drove home surrounded by stuffed animals and warm blankets. We love Skylar and hope to be by her side as she checks off many more fun items from her bucket list!
