Kye recently met with the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation to donate a check from KYE-YAC matched by the Hot Springs Giving Circle for a total of $5,000.? This grant will go toward the outstanding programs the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation offers children of Arkansas including the ‘Eyes of a Champion” which takes on the issue of eye care for preschool through twelfth grade students.? “Eyes of a Champion” provides free vision exams and glasses to lower to middle income, uninsured kids.? Kye met with Vickie Burlsworth, Executive Director of the Burlsworth Foundation and Wal-Mart health and eye care employees, professionals and executives at one of the Hot Springs Wal-Mart Vision Centers.? This grant will provide many children in central Arkansas with the ability to enhance their lives in school and beyond!? KYE-YAC is also looking forward to partnering further with other Burlsworth Foundation programs such as Burls Kids and Brandon Burlsworth Football camps each summer.? KYE-YAC’s board and mission lines up directly with the Burlsworth Foundation’s belief that “In the game of life….every child is a winner.”
